Moved to pre-op

Well, we are in "the back", a.k.a. Pre-op. We are scheduled for 1pm surgery but the nurse just said it will probably be closer to 1:30.

Ellis is sleeping now thank you Jesus. He is going to stay in the Baby Bjorn.

It is a little stressful back here because there are some hurting children that we can hear crying and moaning down the hall. On the one hand I am greatful that Ellis is not that sick and in that much pain and on the other hand, as a parent, it hurts to hear another child in pain.

Grandma and Grandma have Ava out in the waiting room. Ava was riding the rocking horse out there when we were called back. We've never seen her really ride one before. In the past she whould only sit on the horse. She didn't know that she had to hold on or even rock. This time she was goin' to town.
Uh oh. Ellis is waking up so I better give the phone to Carrie. She is going to post some of her thoughts next.
