Poor Ellis getting poked and prodded

Well, we arrived at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital today at 8am for his MAG renal study. Currently Ellis is HOT, literally since he was injected with MAG tagged with Technecium which is radioactive. He is sleeping while the scan progresses. It is very obvious that his left kidney is impaired, but how much, I can't tell. Nuclear medicine studies are similar to ultrasound in that they both give these sort of fuzzy pictures. Oh well, we are almost done and then Ellis gets to eat before the Barium swallow at 3pm instead of the originally scheduled 11am today.
